Abstract:
Women play a critical role in sustainable development. Despite their important contributions, women continue to face significant gender-based barriers that limit their full participation in economic, social, and political life. This paper aims to explore the linkages between women and sustainable development, examine the challenges and opportunities for empowering women for a sustainable future, and identify strategies for promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.
