Abstract

This concept-exploratory research examines the possibility of an AI-based real-time free bay detection system in reducing parking woes at Sanjay Ghodawat University (SGU), Atigre. The main aims are to measure the existing problem faced by four-wheeler users and to determine the perceived usefulness and probable effect of a real-time smart parking system. Using a focused survey of university students and faculty, the research will gather primary data on present parking search durations, rate of difficulty, and willingness to fund such a technological solution. Results are anticipated to prove conceptual feasibility of the system described, presenting a compelling case for a follow-up, full-scale implementation study. This paper will add to the literature base on smart campus projects and sustainable transport options in schools.
