Abstract :
This study explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming India’s agricultural sector. With the increasing demand for food production and the challenges faced by farmers, AI can play a vital role in improving crop yields, reducing losses, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The study highlights the various applications of AI in agriculture, including weather forecasting, crop protection, soil testing, robotics, drones, livestock care, and market information. The benefits of AI in agriculture, such as increased efficiency, reduced losses, and improved decision-making, are also discussed. However, the study also acknowledges the challenges of adopting AI in agriculture, including data accuracy and availability, accessibility and affordability of AI technologies, and the need for specialized expertise.
