Use of Artificial Intelligence to Boost Indian Industrial Sector

Abstract
AI is emerged as a central part of industries. The industrial sector is transforming due to AI. Present study tries to understand use of AI in industrial sector in India and the merits and challenges in application of AI. Many Indian companies across various sectors are using Artificial Intelligence to drive business growth and competitive advantage. AI is working as a powerful tool resulting into increased efficiency, virtual testing, data modernization, accelerating innovation, automation of processes, ensured accuracy, predictive maintenance, improved diagnosis etc. It helps in agribusiness, helps in resource allocation. AI also introduces challenges such as bias, data dependency, risk of cybersecurity, privacy of data, lack of accountability, job losses, effect on human skills, huge investment. Despite of these challenges AI has potential to revolutionize industrial sector.
