Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing education by offering personalized learning experiences, enhancing administrative efficiency, and addressing global educational challenges. This paper explores the prospects of AI in education, emphasizing its potential to transform teaching and learning processes. It examines the rising interest in AI, the urgency of addressing its integration, and the development of ethical and equitable policies. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of centering people, parents, educators, and students, in AI initiatives and provides recommendations to advance equity, ensure safety, and promote transparency in AI applications within educational settings. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative force in the global education landscape, offering possibilities for enhancing both teaching and learning processes. AI-driven systems can provide personalized learning, adapt to diverse learning styles, and create new forms of student-teacher interaction.

At the same time, they support educators through automation of administrative tasks, predictive analytics, and student performance monitoring. This research paper highlights the prospects of AI in education by focusing on key insights, such as adaptive learning, systems thinking, and the dual role of learning with and about AI. It also discusses critical challenges equity, ethics, transparency, and safety and presents practical recommendations for building responsible and inclusive AI-enabled education. By centering people students, educators, and parents AI can be developed not as a replacement for human teaching but as a complement, ensuring education remains a deeply human and socially transformative process.
