Abstract –

Agriculture employs over 40% of the nation’s workforce and contributes significantly to rural livelihoods. It faces challenges such as fragmented landholdings, dependence on unpredictable weather, low income for farmers, and inadequate infrastructure. Green Revolution (1960s–70s), Technological Advancements, Diversification from food grains to horticulture, Government Support, organic farming etc are the progressive indicators of agriculture sector. Presently, farmers have followed unscientific crop planning system. Soil monitoring, automatic weeding, yield mapping, surveillance etc are the key aspects in AI farming.

Pre cultivation – Crop planning is irrational & unscientific V/s cultivation plan is systematic.

Financial planning -Unknown & unaware about financial planning V/s data-driven, predictive.

Fertilizer planning – limited information NPK-proportion, crop – soil needs, use time V/s based on crop type, growth stage, and expected yield.

Water planning – dry farming, imbalanced & irregular water supply V/s based on AI software’s & satellites

Weed controlling – costly, time consuming and defective V/s Applications of robotics, soil sensor & bio herbicides

H.R planning – costly, unskilled and time-consuming V/s integrates with weather apps, crop models, and market demand data.

Marketing planning – Production-Centric, sell after harvest, rely onlocal traders V/s demand projections, recommends crop diversification strategies. AI-based digital marketplaces like AgriBazaar, DeHaat, or ITC e-Choupal.
