Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into green consumption practices presents a transformative opportunity to promote environmental sustainability while meeting consumer demands. As global concerns over climate change, resource depletion, and ecological degradation intensify, AI driven solutions are emerging as powerful tools to optimize sustainable consumption patterns. This paper explores the role of AI in enhancing green consumption by enabling smarter decision making, reducing waste, and fostering eco friendly behaviors among individuals and businesses. Key applications include personalized sustainability recommendations, waste reduction through predictive analytics, and energy efficient supply chain management. However, challenges such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and accessibility must be addressed to ensure ethical and equitable AI deployment. The study concludes with policy recommendations and future research directions to maximize AI’s potential in advancing sustainable consumption.
